The ongoing collaboration between Allegra Hangen and Israel González in the medium of cyanotypes merges both artists’ fascination and love of the color blue. Focusing on themes around spirituality, transcendence, intuition, natural patterns, and collaboration, the three series that make up this body of work (Symphonie Monochrome 1, Symphonie Monochrome 2, and Cobalt Geometries) look to create wonder and a meditative gaze in the viewer.
